“We go on living in what we leave behind”
Sculptures for graves are symbols and signs which describe and accompany the deceased and can console the contemplator. As an artist, I strive to do justice to the deceased, to the mourner, and to my own vision of artistic realization. From the moment the client first gets in touch until the gravestone can be set up, time passes with conversations, ideas, sketches, and models. It is a process which can contribute much to coping with the work of mourning.
